Sunday School is an extremely important ministry for all ages at Park Place, as it provides weekly opportunities for discipleship, fellowship, and accountability. Our children use a curriculum called The Gospel Project, in which we are walking through the Bible’s big story of redemption over the course of three years.
Sunday School for preschoolers-1st graders begins at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday and ends at 10:15 in time to make it to the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Our kids meet in age divided classes except for a large group time, which is in the middle of Sunday School for preschoolers and at the end (10:00-10:15) for our 1-6 graders. These large groups include a time of singing and teaching, which relates to Sunday School for preschoolers and the upcoming worship service for 1-6 graders.
Parents of preschoolers use our KidCheck check-in system, where upon check-in they receive a security tag to go on their preschooler as well as a pick-up tag. 1-6 graders do not have to be checked in, but parents of 1-2 graders will need to pick their child up after Sunday School unless they sign a special release form when they drop off that lets us know their child is ok to walk down by themselves.
